HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)

HACCP is an internationally recognized system for reducing the risk of safety hazards in food. In this training, we teach proper storage of leftovers, food labeling and dating, safe food temperatures and cooking temperatures, accurate thermometer use, food-borne illness, pest control, using material safety data sheets, and much more. 


We teach safe practices and cleanliness when preparing meals. K&A Nutrition is SERVSAFE© certified and has been instructing individuals for years. This training program provides accurate and up-to-date information on a broad-spectrum of food service from food handling to food shipping and storing, to food preparation and serving. We can cover this material in a one day workshop or over a period of time. 

Sanitation and Infection Control

Sanitation and infection control are crucial to maintaining a safe kitchen. This training covers F-Tags, standard precautions, hand washing techniques, personal hygiene, general cleaning and sanitation, ware-washing, damp mopping, sanitation and infection control protocols, and much more.

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)

Our dietitians are available to precept for those who are enrolled in a Certified Dietary Manager program. Students can shadow our dietitians and gain real-world experience in nutrition and dietetics.
